Market Director Bulgaria
Madlena is an expert with a 15 year background in EU funding programmes and investment consultancy. She focuses on environmental issues, sustainable development and resource efficiency. Her key skills and knowledge concentrate on waste management and waste treatment innovative approaches. She is also a Board member of the Norwegian-Bulgarian Business Group.
Responsibilities:
- Market surveillance and development related to greening the economy
- Transfer of Scandinavian know-how and best practices to the Bulgarian market
- Advice on the legal and financial framework of Bulgaria
- Identifying funding opportunities for Bulgarian and Norwegian entities cooperation
- Participation in development of start-ups and pilot projects in Bulgaria and internationally
- Networking and engagement to promote Norwegian environmental values
